I was a walk in customer and Dana received me and did my hair cut. She patiently listened to my concerns, and the details of my desired cut that I found in a magazine. After reviewing the picture, and being informed about the curly nature of my hair, she gave me a custom cut. Her technique took longer, but the end result is INCREDIBLE!!!! She is a talented hairdresser, and I'm going to start going to her regularly. I have super curly hair, and have had bad experiences with haircuts. I've made an appointment to have her do my color, as this is her specialty, I can hardly wait. The owner was on the premises and was very warm and gracious. The atmosphere was a great get-away if you're looking for a place to have a warm tea, and comfortable personalities.

My experience here was nothing short of perfect. Dana is the most skilled and friendly stylist I've ever had. She is extremely talented and did wonders for my hair. The color and cut were amazing and I will definitely be back to see her again! Do yourself a favor and visit Dana at Mu Salon.

I have gone to DANA for cuts and highlights for a few years now, and every time it is amazing. People constantly ask where I get my hair done, and now that I have moved to Santa Cruz, I still drive the 2+ hours to see DANA because it is worth it. I totally trust her judgment regarding what will look great, what will be functional and fit my lifestyle. And, she is practically a comedian, totally fun to hang out with. She is the best stylist I know of. Succinctly put by a friend: "That sounds like an experience worth driving 3 hours for and of course, a place where your hair can be done correctly is a temple and deserves this pilgrimage."
